Sarah Burrin and Jennifer Larrabee from Stonington started their business, Tempest in a Teapot, in 2012.

For these stay-at-home moms, the tea brought back their sense of identity.

Burrin said, “I’ve been known for years as Chris’ wife or Ben and Elliot’s mom. And now it was all of a sudden, in Sarah Burrin from Tempest in a Teapot.’

It also helps that business in booming.

Their tea has been chosen to be as a one of the give-a-ways at the Primetime Emmy Awards!

“I thought it was a joke, honestly I thought someone was playing a prank on us,” said Larrabee.

These two woman have come up with their own 14 blends and two of them are heading to Hollywood, but they won’t reveal the two picks for the swag bag just yet.

The ladies are waiting for their own person Emmy viewing party for that, where they can relax and enjoy the success.

Larrabee said, “It’s about slowing down and taking time to yourself and that’s what tea is really all about.”

So who do they hope takes a sip?

Larabee said, “Who wouldn’t have tea with Patrick Dempsey?”

“The cast of Downton Abbey. If they’re drinking our tea, oh my god,” said Burrin.

and of course, they would love to have some tea with Oprah.
